 Encryption and Data Storage

All sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

 Payment

We accept payment by credit card and debit card and you may also pay using a PayPal account. We are sorry, but no other forms of payment can be taken. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£). My Mini Monsters welcomes payment by the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo.

We will charge your account with payment at the time that the order is allocated for delivery to you. If products are not available for any reason after we have accepted your order, we will let you know. Any charges already incurred will be refunded.
 
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£), and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 15%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

While we try to ensure all the pricing on our site is correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the pricing of goods you have ordered from us, we will inform you as soon as possible and allow you to cancel the order or order the goods at the correct price. We will not process the order without contacting you, and if unable to do so, will consider the order cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

While we will endeavour to fulfil all orders, My Mini Monsters are not obliged to fulfil orders for items that are not in stock.

 Transaction Security

All transaction information passed between My Mini Monsters and the Sage Pay Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

 3D Secure

3D Secure or Three Domain Security is a system that has been developed by the major card schemes to authorise payment over the Internet. MasterCard has called their version MasterCard SecureCode and Visa has called their scheme Verified by Visa.

The 3D Secure scheme requires the cardholder to register their details on the card issuers website. The cardholder will then be asked to answer several security questions, before being asked to create a password and a secret phrase. Just as you would authorise a payment in a shop by ‘Chip and Pin’, the next time the cardholder wishes to make a purchase online, 3D Secure will ask for a pin that you have provided.

 Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of text that is stored on a user’s computer. MyMiniMonsters use cookies as a tracking tool for remembering specific information about the user, which enables us to help tailor the service we provide to your preferences.

If you clicked to add a product to your shopping basket but accidentally close down your browser, cookies are used to remember what you added so you would not have to add it again. Even though cookies are used for tracking, they are neither spyware nor a virus although some anti-virus software packages may pick them up.
